Compatibility And Room Sizing Guide
This split system joins an indoor wall unit and outdoor unit with refrigerant piping fitted on site. Homeowners in Alberton and Vereeniging choose it for open-plan lounges, because one install covers summer and winter. Read more about the Kelon Aircon brand and its range of inverter split units.
Match the BTU rating to the room, because an undersized unit runs flat out all day. Smaller bedrooms or offices may suit the Kelon 18000 BTU model instead of a 24000 btu ac. For a bigger showroom or hall, step up to the Kelon 30000 BTU model.
Compare every size in the Kelon air conditioner range before you order a 24000 btu inverter aircon. The manufacturer’s details are on the official Kelon website.
Mount the outdoor unit in shade with clear airflow on every side. Clean the indoor filters every month to keep airflow and efficiency up.
Backup Power For 24000btu Aircon
Aircon solar power needs a hybrid inverter, because this 24000btu aircon will not run straight off solar panels. On backup, it pairs with a Deye or Luxpower hybrid inverter and lithium battery on single phase AC. Size that system for both its running load and its start-up load.
Its 24000 btu aircon power consumption is listed as 1995 W in cooling mode. A Deye 8kW solar kit is one matched option, once our team confirms the sizing. Run your numbers first in our solar and battery calculator.
Browse our 8kW solar packages if you plan to add more loads later. Set it near 24°C on battery power, not 18°C, so the compressor ramps down and saves charge.
Best Use Cases By Buyer
- Open-plan living areas in family homes.
- Offices and showrooms run by local businesses.
- Farmhouses and packing rooms on working farms.
Warranty Compliance And Trust
Cover runs 1 year on the indoor unit and 3 years on the outdoor unit. Installations by our solar installation team carry a 12-month workmanship warranty, confirmed with your quote. Pay by EFT, card, cash or PayFast, with nationwide delivery in 2 to 5 working days.
NRCS compulsory specification VC 8055 covers the electrical safety of air conditioners sold in South Africa. A SAQCC Gas registered refrigeration practitioner must fit the piping and charge the gas. Under SANS 10142-1, a registered person issues the Certificate of Compliance, as the Electrical Installation Regulations require.
