The Kelon 30000 BTU Inverter Air Conditioner is an 8200W split aircon that cools and heats large rooms. Businesses, farms and homeowners in Pretoria fit it in offices, showrooms and open-plan homes. It outsizes most of our Kelon Air Conditioner range, so one unit can cool a big space.
Kelon 30000 BTU Inverter Air Conditioner Benefits
Split aircon units place the compressor outdoors and a quiet fan head indoors. Homeowners often ask what is an inverter aircon, and the answer is variable compressor speed. Inverter aircon power consumption drops at part load because the compressor slows instead of switching off.
- Inverter technology adjusts compressor speed for steady, efficient cooling.
- Wi-Fi control makes it a wifi aircon you manage remotely.
- Low noise operation keeps bedrooms and offices comfortable.

Compatibility And Fit With Backup Power
This split system needs both indoor and outdoor units, joined by refrigerant piping fitted on site. Mains AC supply feeds the Kelon Aircon split unit, so plan a dedicated circuit. Unlike the solar models in our Air Conditioner range, this unit will not run directly from solar panels.
Installers in Johannesburg should confirm whether it is single or three phase first. Ask for its rated power input too, because that sets the inverter size.
Sizing a 30000 BTU Aircon
Match the unit to the room, since oversizing a small space wastes power and backup battery capacity. Smaller rooms suit the Kelon 24000 BTU inverter aircon. Large halls may need the Kelon 36000 BTU aircon.
Many homeowners fear their hybrid inverter cannot start this load, so book a free backup sizing quote. On backup, it pairs with a Deye or Luxpower hybrid inverter and lithium battery. We size options such as the Deye 12kW hybrid inverter against its running and start-up load.
A confirmed three phase unit needs one of our three phase hybrid inverters, not a single phase model. Fit the outdoor unit on a wall bracket or level base in shade, with clear airflow. Bracket and piping kit are not listed as included.
Best Use Cases for This Size
Pick this 30000 btu inverter aircon when a room extension outgrows an older unit. Browse our air conditioners for sale page for local supply. Clean its indoor filters monthly to hold airflow.
- Homeowners: open-plan lounge and dining areas.
- Businesses: offices, showrooms and small halls.
- Farms: farmhouses, farm offices and packing rooms.
